I brought my GM GA6L45R Automatic transmission here because I was having trouble fully seating the pump back into the transmission case. I was made aware of some issues that I caused, and the boss-man showed me visually the warped discs and steels (which I really appreciated, since it was my first time at this shop, so I didn’t have any relationship with them at all) so I opted for a rebuild kit install, and they would fully assemble the transmission and torque convertor for me. They included a lock for the torque convertor so it wouldn’t fall out at all during transportation back to my garage. All of this was completed in just a 3-day span on short notice which was amazing compared to other shops I called. The transmission is installed now, and I put about 2 hours of driving in the city on it. Will continue to monitor but it appears they did a perfect job. I am glad, because i opted for a bench repair so it was my responsibility to install/reinstall the transmission if needed. I am really happy with my experience at AAMCO here. The owner was busy but I got the feeling from him that he is a kind man and he does his best for his customers. I would come back here, (But I hope I never have to haha 😆), and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. They are very knowledgeable. Thanks again to the people at this AAMCO. Now I can enjoy my car for years to come. No more delayed engagements. The driving experience and performance is restored. 🥳
I have been going to AAMCO for all my car service requirements. Each time I go it is spot on and left with no issues and satisfied.
